The Wauwatosa Historical Society extends its appreciation to the wonderful audiences who attended the production of “FlipCom: Tosa Now and Then” on June 1, 2, and 3. The Wauwatosa West Trojan Players entertained with this novel sitcom-on-stage, which provided laughs, time-travelling, and a look at bygone Wauwatosa.
The play, written by Milwaukee native Steve Stajich, was performed at Wauwatosa West High School as a fundraiser for the Wauwatosa Historical Society. Community sponsors Friends of Hoyt Park and Pool, Fattoni’s Deli & Catering, and Sprecher Brewing Company were featured in delightful, custom-made commercials that aired during the play.
The production honored the Wauwatosa Historical Society’s 35th anniversary and Wauwatosa West High School’s 50th anniversary.
