The sight of artists standing at easels outside Wauwatosa landmarks intrigued curious onlookers in July. The second Plein Air and Village Affair, an outdoor painting competition and sale, drew more than 70 participants. The historical society displayed their artworks at the Little Red Store where patrons could view and buy them. The event promotes preservation and education by focusing on everyday scenes of Tosa neighborhoods, commercial areas and parks.
