The Wauwatosa Historical Society received a Certificate of Commendation from Wisconsin Historical Society for its work in identifying and restoring historic 1930s murals found beneath plaster in the lobby of Wauwatosa East High School.          

TOSA HIGH PROJECT

The purposes of the Tosa High Project are to preserve Wauwatosa High School's memory and traditions, to preserve part of a historic building in Milwaukee's oldest and most architecturally significant suburb, and to continue the tradition of using art and architecture to inspire Wauwatosa's students.
